LEUCHTIE

A handmade-in-Germany illuminated neck ring that switches automatically with orientation and motion, charges on a USB dock without an exposed charging port, and uses replaceable NiMH cells. It is fully waterproof and publishes at least 25 hours per charge, with more than 100 hours for some colors. The closed-ring fit must pass over the dog's head, and it is the most expensive light here.

Nite Ize

A flexible cut-to-fit necklace that adds 360-degree illumination over the dog's normal collar. Disc-O Select cycles colors or holds red, green, or blue; the full size fits roughly 12-27 inches, charges in 1.5 hours, and runs about 5.5 hours. It offers good value and broad size adjustment, but the middling official rating and cut-once sizing require care.

Nite Ize

A small weather-resistant push-button light with a stainless-steel carabiner that clips to collars, harnesses, or leashes. It offers steady and flash modes, charges in about two hours, and runs for about 3.5 hours. The low price and simple attachment are useful for routine walks, but runtime and body coverage are lower than the four products above.

Burley

A premium 2-in-1 trailer and stroller with a full internal aluminum roll cage, low center of gravity, integrated parking brake, removable floor, roll-up panels, low rear entry, and included one-wheel stroller kit. Standard supports 75 lb and XL 100 lb. It offers the most complete dog-specific design, but it is expensive, wide, and heavier than bike-only options.

Thule

A premium children/cargo trailer that converts for a dog only after adding the dedicated kit. The kit supplies a removable padded bed, dog tether, roll-up mesh, rain cover, front and rear access, and exterior storage; the base adds stroller wheels, parking brake, and folding frame. It is exceptionally versatile, but the combined cost is the highest here and the 100 lb carrier rating is not a dog-fit substitute.

Burley

A 21 lb bike-only trailer with a 75 lb capacity, aluminum frame, 16-inch wheels, mesh windows, low rear tailgate, removable floor, compact fold, storage pocket, and flex connector that lets the bicycle lie down while the trailer stays upright. It is easier to tow and store than conversion models, but stroller mode and an integrated parking brake are absent.

Retrospec

An affordable folding steel trailer with a 50 lb limit, 30 x 19 x 17-inch interior, rear dog door, internal leash, anti-slip floor, 16-inch air-filled tires, weather-resistant 500D shell, canopy/mesh layers, and rear storage. It delivers strong value and a good official review signal, but it is not recommended for thru-axles and visible owner feedback reinforces the need for slow corners and mesh inspection.

InnoPet

A complete 2-in-1 dog trailer and stroller sold with the bike bar, walking kit, and rain cover rather than requiring a separate conversion purchase. It carries up to 30 kg in a 68 x 40 x 52 cm cabin, weighs 14 kg, and combines 16-inch pneumatic rear tires with an 8-inch flat-free EFA front wheel. Direct EU availability and strong reviews are reassuring, although InnoPet does not recommend trailers behind powered e-bikes and limits straight-line speed to 16 km/h.

Ibiyaya

A purpose-built jogging stroller with large puncture-proof PU rubber wheels, reinforced anodized-aluminum frame, dual brakes, one-hand fold with safety lock, zipperless front and rear entry, and a ventilated 26 x 14 x 22-inch cabin. It supports 55 lb while weighing 26 lb, and the strong current review signal includes owners using it for running and rough paths. The medium-size limit and premium price are the main constraints.

InnoPet

A wide stroller and bike-trailer platform for dogs up to 50 kg, with an 85 x 61 x 61 cm cabin, 18-inch pneumatic rear tires, 8-inch flat-free EFA front wheel, rain cover, removable hand-washable fabric, and available replacement parts. It is directly in stock and the 5.0/5 brand-site signal is unusually strong. The 18 kg frame is bulky, and InnoPet explicitly notes that the entry may be high for older dogs.

InnoPet

An 11 kg stroller for pets up to 25 kg with three 12-inch pneumatic tires, a roomy 66 x 33 x 48 cm cabin, one-hand fold, strong internal tethers, reflective side details, organizer, recycled 600D nylon cover, and two-year warranty. It offers the best balance of outdoor wheel comfort, manageable size, and review depth, but pneumatic tires can puncture and wet metal rims need drying.
