Kurgo

Kurgo's food-grade silicone cap screws onto compatible 16-ounce to 2-liter PET soda bottles to create a portable rinse stream. A two-liter bottle is listed to provide at least one minute of shower time, and the cap is top-rack dishwasher safe. It packs far smaller than a cup or hose kit and can rinse legs and belly as well as paws, but bottle-neck compatibility varies and there are no bristles for agitating packed mud.

Wondurdog

Wondurdog combines a garden-hose connector, adjustable water-pressure control, shower brush, and splash shield in one outdoor washing head. The brush can work water through muddy fur while the shield limits spray toward the handler, making it better suited to heavily soiled paws and lower legs than a simple bottle cap. It requires an outdoor hose connection and should be used at gentle pressure around sensitive pads.

Oxygenics PawSpa

ShampoochPro is a full pet-washing kit with five spray modes, a 96-inch hose, shampoo reservoir, shower diverter, sink adapter, outdoor-spigot adapter, and storage bag. It can rinse paws outside or in a bath and then expand to a complete wash, making it more versatile than a paw-only cup. The tradeoff is setup complexity, larger packed size, and the need for a compatible faucet, shower, or spigot.

GoPaw

GoPaw offers small, medium, and large cups in blue, green, and orange, with soft non-toxic silicone bristles and a simple add-water, move-up-and-down, and towel-dry routine. Nine currently available variants make it easy to match approximate dog size and color preference, and the compact cup can stay in a car. Its size labels are based on body weight rather than published paw-opening measurements, so fit is less precise than the top-ranked cups.

The Green Pet Shop

The Cool Pet Pad uses a pressure-activated non-toxic gel that the brand says cools for up to three hours and resets after 15 to 20 minutes without use. Five size bands cover pets from under eight pounds to over 80 pounds, and the foldable wipe-clean format needs no water, power, or refrigeration. It is the clearest all-around option for indoor rooms, air-conditioned vehicles, and shaded temperature-controlled rest, but direct sun, a hot car, chewing, or punctures can make it ineffective or unsafe.

Arf Pets

Arf Pets pairs a non-toxic solid-gel core with a puncture-resistant nylon exterior in three large footprints, topping out at 35 by 55 inches. The brand says it cools for up to three hours, resets after 15 to 20 minutes of non-use, and needs no water, battery, refrigerator, or outlet. It provides more sprawl room than most passive mats and has a substantial retailer review sample, although its less-than-half-inch profile is firm and a determined chewer can still damage it.

K&H Pet Products

The Coolin' Pet Pad uses water rather than gel or electricity to wick body heat into the surrounding air. Four sizes run from 11 by 15 inches to 27 by 38 inches, and the pad remains lightweight until it is filled, which is useful when packing for an RV, cabin, or campsite. K&H recommends shade and a hard floor because carpet reduces heat transfer; the need to add water, hand wash the surface, and protect it from punctures makes it less convenient than a dry self-cooling pad.

Cool Bed III combines a water-saturated Cool Core with a nylon-coated vinyl shell to create a cushioned surface without toxic gel or electricity. Small, medium, and large beds require one to six gallons and weigh about 12 to 50 pounds when full, so the product is better for an RV base camp, cabin, or home than frequent carry between trailheads. It has no listed dog-weight limit and a two-year warranty, but users must fill, burp, position, and move it carefully to avoid core damage or leakage.

Frisco

Frisco places cooling fabric over orthopedic foam to give older dogs or pressure-sensitive pets more support than a thin gel sheet. Six crate-oriented lengths run from 24 to 54 inches; smaller versions are about two inches thick and the 36-inch and larger mats are about three inches thick. The removable cover is machine washable and the review sample is unusually large, but the foam must be spot cleaned, is not waterproof, and some public feedback describes only a mild cooling effect.

Bedsure

Bedsure uses a cool-touch breathable top, light polypropylene-cotton fill, quilt stitching, and a nonslip base in a half-inch mat that can go through a washing machine and dryer. Four sizes fit common crate and travel footprints, and the absence of gel, water, or a power supply simplifies packing and care. The tradeoff is performance: this is a passive fabric mat rather than an active gel, water-core, or ice-assisted system, so buyers should expect a lighter cooling sensation and limited cushioning.

Heeyoo

Heeyoo offers a one-inch-thick, double-sided mat with a removable washable cover and foldable format for kennel, vehicle, backyard, or shaded campsite use. The currently orderable 44-by-32-inch version provides generous space at a low listed price, while the foam can be spot cleaned separately from the cover. The product page does not quantify its Q-max value or explain the cooling mechanism in detail, and the two smaller listed sizes were unavailable when checked.
